It is no accident that the anti-Muslim columnist, Melanie Phillips, who writes for the Daily Mail, the paper that supported Sir Oswald Moseley and who once described Independent Jewish Voices as ‘Jews for Genocide’ also seems to be Breivik’s favourite newspaper pundit. He quotes her no less than 6 times – all approvingly. See ANDERS BREIVIK’S BIG INFLUENCE – MELANIE PHILLIPS OF THE DAILY MAIL
The mass murder of 70 Norwegian teenagers and the car bomb in the centre of Oslo, have literally set the cat among the pigeons. Far from being a loner, Breivik was well connected with Europe’s far-right and espoused the type of anti-Muslim views that are commonplace among the right-wing anti-terrorism ‘experts’ for whom Breivik’s actions aren’t ‘real terrorism’.
This kind of racist clap-trap is on a par with those who have used the bogey of ‘terrorism’ to demonise Muslims and for whom the far-greater violence of the West, its gruesome killings, its drones and secret prisons and torture, to say nothing of sectarian killings it has sponsored – none of these are terrorism because ‘we’ are by definition the nice guys.
The fact is that it is precisely the racist demonisation of Muslims, the attempts to ‘prove’ Islam is murderous and genocidal because of what is written in the Quoran, when similar passages can be found in the Bible – New and Old – and the Talmud, the compilation of Jewish religious law that has led to this horrific massacre. Breivik is the creature of Blair and The Sun and their ilk.
According to Lior Yaccoby’s Suspect in Norway attacks wrote manifesto espousing pro-Zionist views
‘Anders Breivik, in his manifesto, entitled “2083: A European Declaration of Independence” published under the name Andrew Berwick, Israel is mentioned no less than 300 times, always in a positive light. In his writings, Breivik appears to be an “ardent Zionist,” praising and exalting “The Jewish State” by Theodor Herzl. He attacks the European political establishment, led by the European Union, for not supporting Israel.’
Breivik was a true Nazi. Not only did he hate Muslims but he also hated ‘cultural Marxism’ and saw members of the Norwegian left as responsible for bringing Muslims into Norway. Just as the National Front and assorted neo-Nazis used to proclaim that Jews were responsible for Black immigration into this country, so the Left in Norway was likewise blamed for the fact that approximately 3% of Norway’s population is Muslim.
Anders Breivik, who at the latest count, murdered 70 Norwegian teenagers and members of the Norewgian Labour Party, as well as 7 people in the car bomb which proceeded the massacre of the teenagers, was not only a neo-Nazi but a strong supporter of the Israeli State and in particular its Foreign Minister, Avigdor Lieberman.
There is a wealth of evidence already collected that demonstrates beyond doubt that Breivik was not a loner or a nutter, but had a wealth of connections with British Nazis and the English Defence League and their funder Alan Lake in particular. For example Norway attacks: Utøya gunman boasted of links to UK far right
But the initial response to the mass murder in Oslo last Friday was typified by Murdoch’s Sun. Muslim ‘terrorism’ was to blame and when it became clear that it was a member of the far-Right, there was an attempt to portray this as not terroristic.
The Sun wrote on 23rd July that ‘Nato member Norway has been threatened by al-Qaeda in the past over its ivolvement in Afghanistan…. It has also taken part in the Nato bombing of Libya, where Colonel Gaddafi has threatened to strike back in Europe…. David Lea, Western Europe analyst at risk consultants Control Risks, said: “There certainly aren’t any domestic Norwegian terrorist groups although there have been some al-Qaeda-linked arrests from time to time…. They are in Afghanistan and were involved in Libya, but it’s far too soon to draw any conclusions.’
But it wasn’t just the gutter press that sought to put the blame on Muslims. The New York Times reporting was even worse than the Sun’s. In an article, At Least 80 Dead in Norway Shooting the NYT wrote that:
‘Initial reports focused on the possibility of Islamic militants, in particular Ansar al-Jihad al-Alami, or Helpers of the Global Jihad, cited by some analysts as claiming responsibility for the attacks. American officials said the group was previously unknown and might not even exist.
There was ample reason for concern that terrorists might be responsible. In 2004 and again in 2008, the No. 2 leader of Al Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahri, who took over after the death of Osama bin Laden, threatened Norway because of its support of the American-led NATO military operation in Afghanistan.
Norway has about 550 soldiers and three medevac helicopters in northern Afghanistan, a Norwegian defense official said. The government has indicated that it will continue to support the operations as long as the alliance needs partners on the ground.
Terrorism specialists said that even if the authorities ultimately ruled out Islamic terrorism as the cause of Friday’s assaults, other kinds of groups or individuals were mimicking Al Qaeda’s brutality and multiple attacks.
“If it does turn out to be someone with more political motivations, it shows these groups are learning from what they see from Al Qaeda,” said Brian Fishman, a counterterrorism researcher at the New America Foundation in Washington. “One lesson I take away from this is that attacks, especially in the West, are going to move to automatic weapons.”
Note how the NYT phrases the issue: ‘There was ample reason for concern that terrorists might be responsible.’ citing Al Queda. Fascism terrorism on the other hand has never been seen as terrorism. And apparently, even if it wasn’t the Muslims, then it is obvious that the neo-Nazis responsible ‘were mimicking Al Qaeda’. Presumably the Nazis also ‘mimicked’ Al Qaeda and no doubt Franco and Mussolini too. Of course one could cite things such as the bombing of Bologna railway station in the 1970’s in which US connected Gladio fascists killed over a hundred people or Timothy McVeigh’s murder of over 160 people in Oklahoma. It never ceases to amaze me how idiots like Brian Fishman can pass as ‘counter-terrorism researchers’ and experts. But at least we had learnt that murders are more likely to be carried out by automatic weapons in the future! Presumably t his is why he is an expert.
In ‘The omnipotence of Al Qaeda and meaninglessness of “Terrorism’ Glenn Greenwald described how
‘For much of the day yesterday, the featured headline on The New York Times online front page strongly suggested that Muslims were responsible for the attacks on Oslo; that led to definitive statements on the BBC and elsewhere that Muslims were the culprits. The Washington Post’s Jennifer Rubin wrote a whole column based on the assertion that Muslims were responsible, one that, as James Fallows notes, remains at the Post with no corrections or updates.’
Greenwald poses an interesting question:
‘One last question: if, as preliminary evidence suggests, it turns out that Breivik was “inspired” by the extremist hatemongering rantings of Geller, Pipes and friends, will their groups be deemed Terrorist organizations such that any involvement with them could constitute the criminal offense of material support to Terrorism? Will those extremist polemicists inspiring Terrorist violence receive the Anwar Awlaki treatment of being put on an assassination hit list without due process? Will tall, blond, Nordic-looking males now receive extra scrutiny at airports and other locales, and will those having any involvement with those right-wing, Muslim-hating groups be secretly placed on no-fly lists? Or are those oppressive, extremist, lawless measures — like the word Terrorism — also reserved exclusively for Muslims?’
Arutz Sheva, news agency for the Israeli settlers, in Report: Norwegian Murderer an Ardent Supporter of Israel, notes that ‘Breivik, who committed the massacre in Norway on Friday in which over 90 people were murdered, spoke out in the past against Islam and said that he is a strong supporter of Israel, Channel 2 News reported on Sunday.’
Not only was Breivik a strong supporter of Israel, but ‘According to the report, in an English document he published on the Internet before the massacre, Breivik called himself a strong supporter of Zionism, praised Theodor Herzl the founder of Zionism, and attacked the European political establishment because he saw it as being anti-Israel.’
This reminds me of Adolph Eichman’s interview with Dutch Nazi journalist, Wilhelm Sassen in 1955, reprinted as in Life Magazine on 28.11.60. I transported Them to the Butcher,’ Eichmann’s Own Story: [reprinted in Lenni Brenner’s, 101 Documents, p. 267]
‘In the years that followed I often said to Jews with whom I had dealings that, had I been a Jew, I would have been a fanatical Zionist. I could not imagine being anything else. In fact, I would have been the most ardent Zionist imaginable.’
Breivik was not someone to put a gloss or a coating of hasbara on such matters . According to Arutz Sheva ‘Breivik commended Israel for not giving most of the Muslims who live under its control civil rights, as opposed to the various European countries. He also praised Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu for including the Yisrael Beiteinu and Shas parties in his coalition…. He also specifically mentioned Arutz Sheva and the leftist Haaretz newspaper.
Our neo-Nazi declared that ‘it’s time to end the stupid support for the Palestinians and begin to support our cultural cousins – Israel,’ Channel 2 quoted Breivik as having written in the document.
And Breivik has had very close links with the EDL. The Jewish Division of the EDL has actually supported Breivik’s mass murder rampage because the teenagers concerned had discussed Palestine at their conference on the island and declared their support for the Palestinians. The Jewish Division of the EDL were the ones that Jonathan Hoffman of the Zionist Federation was dancing down the street with and he was happy to demonstrate with them outside Ahava. And the ‘Community Security Trust’, the Jewish community’s ‘protection’ against anti-Semitism, had no problems with the EDL participating in the demonstration to support the murder of 9 peace activists on the Mava Marmara in July 2010.
An indication of the Zionist leadership’s true feelings is the article that appeared in the Jerusalem Post on Sunday 24th July. In an Editorial entitled ‘Norway gov’t building hit by bomb in Oslo – Norway’s challenge’. The JP demonstrates that its main concern is the ‘abject failure of multiculturalism’ – precisely the bogy of Breivik.
‘Europe’s fringe right-wing extremists present a real danger to society. But Oslo’s devastating tragedy should not be allowed to be manipulated by those who would cover up the abject failure of multiculturalism…. Just hours before Breivik, a former member of a populist anti-immigration party who wrote blogs attacking multiculturalism and Islam, had detonated a bomb in Oslo’s government district that killed seven…. Oslo is the namesake of one of the most ambitious – and misguided – attempts by Israel, under the mediation of the Norwegians, to reach a peace accord with our Palestinian neighbors…. While it is still too early to determine definitively Breivik’s precise motives, it could very well be that the attack was more pernicious – and more widespread – than the isolated act of a lunatic. Perhaps Brievik’s inexcusable act of vicious terror should serve not only as a warning that there may be more elements on the extreme Right willing to use violence to further their goals, but also as an opportunity to seriously reevaluate policies for immigrant integration in Norway and elsewhere. While there is absolutely no justification for the sort of heinous act perpetrated this weekend in Norway, discontent with multiculturalism’s failure must not be delegitimatized or mistakenly portrayed as an opinion held by only the most extremist elements of the Right…. The challenge for Norway in particular and for Europe as a whole, where the Muslim population is expected to account for 8% of the population by 2030 according to a Pew Research Center, is to strike the right balance. Fostering an open society untainted by xenophobia or racism should go hand in hand with protection of unique European culture and values. Europe’s fringe right-wing extremists present a real danger to society. But Oslo’s devastating tragedy should not be allowed to be manipulated by those who would cover up the abject failure of multiculturalism.’
And thus we see how Zionist led attacks on Muslims and multi-culturalism – the staple diet of a generation of anti-Semites – has linked in and indeed fed the neo-Nazi views of Norway’s mass killer Breivik. Despite her protestations of innocence, Melanie Phillips has led the way with outrageous attacks on Muslims and fanned the flames of hatred. However she is starting to find the heat quite unsettling.
